Domestic Survival – Isobel Blank

Is it possible to transcend self-awareness within one’s own domestic space? To traverse with wonder thresholds, corners, and interstices of familiar places might offer a way to transcend without moving physically. Like the marvellous metamorphoses of vegetation perpetually rooted in the same place, humans too might find freedom in the stillness of anchoring to an intimate space. The routine within familial confines perhaps holds the potential to become a stage for boundless visions and actions of universal significance.
