We, Milad and Mehdi, operating under the stage name ‘Pahlavani Brothers’ and based in Iran, embarked on an experimental journey in directing. Our initial foray involved creating short videos featuring Iranian dancers, driven by our passion to showcase Iran’s burgeoning artistic landscape, particularly in the realms of dance and music.
Our deep connection to these artistic spaces originates from our own experiences as active participants in Iran’s evolving dance and music communities for many years.
Our project, titled ‘Colors,’ is a testament to our vision. Through dance and music, we aim to express the rich tapestry of emotions and experiences that colors evoke. Our goal is to create an immersive sensory experience that resonates with audiences on a profound level, transcending cultural boundaries and fostering a deeper appreciation for the universal language of art.
