Dir. Elena Muchnaya
Russia 2018
“Sometimes, in days of perfect and precise light, when things have all the reality they can have” score by a contemporary composer (Switzerland), whose name I don’t remember.
a memory… a memory to which we don’t have an access… a meaning… a meaning that we cannot comprehend, or we deny ourselves to comprehend this meaning… something incredibly fragile… something that tremulously, superstitiously, stored…
The woman goes to the sea, brings him an egg – a receptacle for her memory. The egg should calm the sea. But one mistake – a fall – the egg is missed. The result of this error is the appearance of others – fragmentation, an attempt to retain memory, experience. In the end the goal is achieved – the sea is calm and it becomes possible to start a new game.
The film was shot in frames of the Siberian Festival of Contact Improvisation at Altay in 2018.
In this project I also act as director, cameraman, editor and composer.
